Due to the volume of new work our client has been growing consistently and are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to work in their finance function. The Accounts Assistant would be supporting the Finance Manager on management accounting issues including purchase ledger, monthly payroll preparation, performance reports, credit control and processing payments as well as month and year end reporting.
As this is a small team the Accounts Assistant must be highly numerate and possess previous commercial accounting experience ideally within a professional services environment. You will also be a willing team player with an ability to take on extra activities when required. You will have experience of working in a busy environment, good communication skills and strong Excel skills.
A professional qualification such as AAT would be preferred but candidates qualified by experience (QBE) would also be of interest.
