Our client, an exciting and fast growing financial services SME is looking to recruit a further Business Development Consultant on a permanent basis to support the continued growth of this commercial finance business.
Operating in a range of sectors from Asset Finance, Business Loans and Commercial Finance you will be responsible for generating business by undertaking business networking, utilising LinkedIn and other platforms to engage and build relationships with decision makers within the market.
You will be required initially to undertake a large amount of telephone based sales, however this will be done in a consultative and professional way and it will be on a purely business to business level. Your clients will be senior decision makers in established and start-up businesses throughout the UK. Providing a bespoke personal service, part of your role will be promoting a online platform to these businesses to streamline their financial processes and simplify procedures in relation to loans, commercial mortgages, asset finance, bridging and invoice discounting.
Responsible for face to face client relations the role will be varied, challenging and very rewarding with the opportunity to earn significantly on top of a basic salary as well as provide the individual with long term career prospects and industry relevant qualifications.
We are looking for exceptionally driven, well-presented, very professional individuals who are motivated by money but also client satisfaction. You must be a highly confident, credible and consultative sales person who is looking to embark on a long term career and is willing to put in the hard graft to reap the rewards further down the line.
Our ideal candidate will have proven business to business experience in a sales or business development role and have the ability to maintain and nurture professional client relationships. In addition, you will be a commercially aware candidate with a desire to collaborate with your team to ensure a holistic service to your clients.
Strong administration skills are needed as is an understanding of compliance and the importance of financial regulations.
We are looking for candidates with a strong educational background be this school, college or university or industry related vocational qualifications.
