My client, a public sector organisation are looking for a Commissioning Officer to join their team on a 6-12 month contract.
As a Commissioning Officer you will support the lead commissioners and outcome managers in achieving the expected and desired outcomes in given areas through effective commissioning activities.
You will be expected to lead and undertake more complex and higher risk projects and lead on lower risk commissioning exercises.
As a Commissioning Officer you will provide advice, evidence and research which supports commissioning decisions including analysis of market development trends. Undertake contract monitoring, draft and compile specifications which are consistent with commissioning/procurement guidance and legislation.
In order to be successful, you will have experience of working within a commissioning environment either as a commissioner or provider within a council’s service, e.g. highways, children’s services, adult social care etc.
This vacancy falls within the Children’s Services team.
This is a 6-12 month contract with an hourly rate of £15.78.
