Our client, based near Gloucester, is looking for a Deputy Headteacher to support the Headteacher and be responsible for day to day organisation, strategic leadership, teaching and staff management.
In addition, the post holder will be reviewing and updating policies, promoting values and ethos and ensuring consistent high standards are maintained throughout the organisation.
Working closely with the school Business Manager the role will be broad, varied and incredibly challenging and will suit an individual who truly wants to make a difference.
Please note this is a full time role within school hours and parking will be provided.
We are looking for an experienced teacher who can demonstrate a broad range of teaching ideally across both primary and secondary education, although this is not essential.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate confidently that they have been involved not only in teaching and learning, but also the supervision of other teaching staff, curriculum development, pupil care and management of external relationships.
