Employee Benefits Administrator

Our client is a leading financial services business with experience across all areas of Wealth Management who are now looking to add to their Employee Benefits team.
You will provide administration support to the Group Pension & Risk Consultants, taking on the responsibility of complete support for the group pensions and insured benefits of employee benefit schemes
You will be an integral part of the process helping the consultants to increase business income by providing new business processing, product research, scheme renewal, payment files, compliance preparation, and general administration duties.
You will work closely with insurance companies and pension providers to ensure the information required is accurate for the specific business need and you will embrace the firm’s policy and commitment to the principle of Treating Customers Fairly when performing your duties.
We are looking for a team player, who has strong inter-personal and communication skills who can prioritise and has excellent time management skills and given shifting priorities you will need to be adaptable and to use your initiative
Day to day you will prioritise daily activities and respond effectively and efficiently to enquiries maintaining professional and tactful communication with clients/insurers and other contacts. In addition You will build an ongoing relationship with product providers and third parties to take ownership of problems and ensure their successful resolution. You will also maintain a good standard of product knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have group risk experience (group pension experience would be a plus but not essential) experience working within an insurer/administration environment, as well as a good knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Outlook and Internet. Some knowledge of Financial Services experience and ideally you will be qualified to at least FPC 1 / Certificate in Financial Administration (CF1).
Furthermore you will have awareness of yours and the companies duties under the Proceeds of Crime Act & Data Protection Act along with knowledge of the firm’s policy and commitment to the principle of Treating Customers Fairly
