Our client, a family run business on the outskirts of Gloucester is looking for an ambitious and hard working Finance Manager for a permanent role. Reporting to the Director of the business the post-holder will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks including accounts payable and receivable, tax related issues, budget management, credit control, forecasting and negotiating and maintaining supplier agreements. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop a role which will in likelihood develop into a more senior post. The sky is the limit in this role as the client is very keen to develop the successful individual by putting them through relevant exams in order to enhance their skill set and make them a senior member of the team!
We are looking for an individual who is qualified to AAT Level 3 minimum or equivalent and would like to progress through to ACCA or CIMA. In addition, you will need to be focussed, level headed, someone who thinks outside of the box and thrives in a fast paced and autonomous working environment.
Our ideal candidate will be a clear and confident communicator with an astute business mind and strong negotiation skills. Experience of planning and some level of strategic input is essential to be successful in this role.
