Hooray are proud to assist in the recruitment for a Head of SEN on a full time basis at this small, high quality, independent education establishment who’s most recent Ofsted report rated them as ‘Good’. Our client encourages small class sizes and a personalised curriculum for all pupils.
As the Head of SEN, you will assist the headteachers in the strategic leadership and management of the school and promote their values and ethos. You will carry out the duties of a teacher, as well as play a major role in organising special events and Friday activities.

To be successful you will have had previous experience caring for SEN students, be able to develop effective relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents or carers and assist the headteachers in the day to day organisation and management of the school, undertaking the role of headteacher in their absence. Previous experience of leading English or Science would be advantageous.

My client is offering an annual salary of up to £40,000 per annum. Part time hours would be considered for the right candidate.
