Hooray are proud to be working exclusively with a local charity to aid in the recruitment for a Housing Manager for one of their services.
As a Housing Manager you will contribute and help realise the ambition of the Charity in supporting the most vulnerable and excluded in society to move from a place of risk and vulnerability to a place of resilience and independence.
You will ensure the provision of safe, short term accommodation for individuals with varying degrees of support needs. The accommodation has a maximum capacity for 73 residents.
In order to be successful, you will have extensive knowledge of homelessness legislation, knowledge of benefits system and basic health and safety in the workplace. You will also hold substantial operational management experience in housing needs or a related environment, along with excellent attention to detail.
You must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in housing, experience of managing a staff team and ideally 1 years experience of housing management.
We are offering an excellent salary up to £35K per annum dependent on experience. This is a full time (37.5 hours a week) permanent position.
