Legal Secretary – Litigation

This is a great opportunity to develop your experience in the legal sector and would suit someone looking for a varied role offering more client contact and case work in addition to the traditional Legal Secretary responsibilities. For example, in addition to audio typing you will also be involved in file opening and closing of cases, regularly updating the clients by phone, email and in person as well as the preparation of standard documentation and helping progress cases where required.
Audio typing skills are important as you will be producing letters and documents as well as completing court forms. Excellent communication skills are essential – you will be in regular communication with third parties as well as internal stakeholders such as other solicitors, clients and accounts departments.
Finally experience of working with case management software would be beneficial but not essential and candidates from other sectors i.e medical or other professional services environment are welcome to apply.
