We are supporting Cheltenham Open Door, a growing charity in Gloucestershire, with their search for a Marketing and Fundraising Manager. The postholder will work closely with the Operations Manager and report to the board of Trustees and Chair.

Working a 30-hour week, you will be responsible for implementing a robust marketing and fundraising strategy, applying for grants and writing funding applications, setting up and streamlining a donor database and you will be responsible for growing the social media presence and enhancing the website.

In addition, you will be networking in the local business community, managing media relationships and undertaking all administrative work in relation to the marketing and fundraising function.

This is a role with a lot of autonomy and responsibility and some shared management of volunteers may be required on occasion.

Cheltenham Open Door is looking for a proactive self-starter who has experience of marketing and fundraising within a charity setting.

You will be happy working in a highly autonomous environment and will be highly organised with very strong administration skills as well as being a confident and highly skilled networker.

To be successful in this role you will need to be very driven with a very positive and infectious communication style and be committed to growing the presence of the charity as well as generating income from a variety of sources.
