Are you a dedicated legal professional looking for a Paralegal role? Can you demonstrate previous experience as a Paralegal in a property / conveyancing department?

Our client, an established local business in Gloucester, are entering an exciting new phase of growth, and is looking for a professional and experienced Paralegal individual to join their team.

The Paralegal will be responsible for supporting the Fee Earner, working on a caseload of sales and purchases, mortgages, re-mortgages and commercial property files using their case management system. You will be supported by Legal Assistants and expected to progress your own caseload.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to work in collaborative team, supporting in the processing of sale and purchase transactions under the guidance of the Fee Earner. The Paralegal role will include updating clients on the progress of the case, dealing with any issues relating to pre-exchange and completion, as well as interrogating responses and reporting to clients. You will also get involved in ordering searches, and you will need to have a good knowledge of sales, purchase and remortgage processes as well as being able to run a caseload of sales files under the supervision of the Fee Earner.

Candidates for the Paralegal role should be able to demonstrate an up to date knowledge or the law and practice, and a minimum of 18 months post qualification experience in a similar role.

The client are seeking a Paralegal with prior experience in Property law, working in a conveyancing / property department previously and now looking for a new role – candidates without prior experience will unfortunately not be considered as the client is not able to take further inexperienced trainees having filled their quota for this year.

This Paralegal role is a permanent position to be based in the Gloucester office, and the successful candidate will be employed on a full-time basis.
