Our client, based in the historic city of Gloucester, is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their growing business on a full time and permanent basis to support the Payroll Manager.
The role will involve processing payroll in a compliant and timely manner, plan and develop payroll processes, ensure all source documents are retained in line with guidelines and check that all payroll systems satisfy internal and external reporting requirements.
This position will be reporting to the Payroll Manager and will also involve training of payroll administrators and liaising with external businesses, including HMRC, by telephone and email.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have a minimum of two years payroll experience and can demonstrate knowledge of concepts, best practices and procedures. Ideally you will be familiar with ADPFreedom, Payroll, SAGE and HR SAP, however training will be provided. Good organisational skills and the ability to communicate well, both written and verbally is required, as well as a proactive approach to queries.
