Our client is highly successful in helping businesses within the FMCG industry to enhance their brands and grow market share. They are looking for an experienced Project Development Manager to join their talented team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Trading Controller you will be responsible for leading the private label team on all product development projects with ultimate responsibility for divisional strategy and growth. With excellent knowledge on current market conditions, you will offer consumer insight and latest trend developments while acting as the link between all stakeholders, including sales force, manufacturers, and customers. Your key objectives will be to exceed all sales targets and build sustainable relationships for the long term.

As the successful candidate you will offer a wealth of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of developing brands in the FMCG industry. Your previous experience will include managing NPD gate processes for all new launches, successful launches of all EPD development projects, and ensure all NPD developments are insight led and clearly positioned. The Project Development Manager is required to be innovative with the ability to think outside the box and streamline processes across all new categories for the creation of new manufacturing partnerships. You will ensure all market reviews, volume demand forecasts, P&L summaries and launch plans are formulated with the appropriate detail to enable feasibility sign off.

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills to foster great relationships and serve as the key point of contact for all customer development teams with previous experience of managing marketing and NPD budgets. Representing the private label division, you will forge strong relationships with various manufacturing partners to fully understand their long-term strategic goals. You will be a proactive Project Development Manager who is constantly looking for new business opportunities to maximise revenue stream and grow profits.
