Sales and Events Co-ordinator

Our client, an established hospitality business is looking for a salesperson to further develop their commercial sales of meeting rooms and events. Joining a small but warm and friendly team, you will be supporting with all promotional and seasonal events, following up on enquiries efficiently and in line with targets and converting these into sales and noting prospects and leads into the sales system. You will be managing elements of the budget and liaising with the appropriate departments to formulate action plans. You will also proactively generate sales and leads through existing and new business and will carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual with experience in sales and customer service. You will have some knowledge and experience in hospitality and events in particular and will be able to manage your own workload and stick to deadlines and meet targets. Our ideal candidate will be highly computer literate and have excellent communication skills both face to face and via the telephone. Remaining calm in a fast-paced environment and being creative in your solutions when faced with obstacles are required attributes for this role.
