Senior Commissioning Officer

Here at Hooray we are pleased to be working alongside the local authority and assist in the recruitment for a Senior Commissioning Officer on a temporary basis.
You will drive transformation within the commissioning team, taking responsibility for:
– The management of commissioning officers
– Leading the delivery of specific areas of strategic planning and commissioning taking a primary role in commissioning with partners (especially the NHS) in a specified locality and to achieve the vision for joint commissioning.
– Achieving transformation and change that makes maximum use of available resources, ensuring that risks in delivery of change are identified and managed.
Working as part of the Childrens’ Services Commissioning Team you will take responsibility for management of up to £4m of budget. The post holder will also have a significant influencing role in shaping decisions about the wider commissioning of Childrens’ Services spending and, working with the NHS, for health spend and, more widely, with District Councils and other partners.
This is a temporary role starting on the 21st September until the 25th December. We are offering an excellent rate of £350 a day.
