Our client, based in the centre of Cheltenham, is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their growing international business on a full time, permanent basis to support the Payroll Operations team.
The role will involve processing payroll in a compliant and timely manner, planning and developing payroll processes, ensuring all source documents are retained in line with guidelines and check that all payroll systems satisfy internal and external reporting requirements.
This position will be reporting to the Payroll Operations Manager and will also involve liaising with external businesses, including HMRC, by telephone and email as well as liaising with various stakeholders. You will be able to build rapport easily and be confident dealing with Senior Managers and Directors within the business. Additionally, we are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have a minimum of two years payroll experience and can demonstrate knowledge of concepts, best practices and procedures. Ideally you will be familiar with a large Payroll system, however training will be provided. Good organisational skills and the ability to communicate well, both written and verbally is essential, as well as a proactive and efficient approach.
