Can be creative or analytical and can work in a team or manage the whole function. Responsible for ‘off-line’ and / or digital marketing and in smaller organisations will manage social media and website maintenance. Larger organisations will have separate social media staff. Responsible for the more technical and analytical side of an organisation and will ensure the streamlining and upkeep of an effective database. Will be informed on aspects of data protection and may work closely with a marketing or sales team.
