  • Executive & Personal Assistants

    Will undertake tasks such as diary and calendar management, organising meetings, engaging with stakeholders, gatekeeping, and organising personal matters. Will often perform secretarial and administration duties and often organise events. Can support a member of Senior Manager or a team. Seniority in role will depend on size of organisation and level of responsibility. Hooray recruits at all levels.

  • Office Managers & Team Coordinators

    May perform similar duties to a PA or Administrator however will often be the ‘go to’ person for the whole office or department / team and are usually responsible for ordering stationery, managing financial matters, and dealing with suppliers. They will often organise team events or nights out and may co-ordinate training. Office Managers are likely to line manage administrators or coordinators.

  • Administration & Secretarial

    Often perform similar duties to PA’s and EA’s, however may work on tasks with less responsibility and are usually given more direction. Are likely to support a bigger team and usually undertake more administration and less private and personal work. Often work on specific projects or accounts. In larger organisations will support and report into a PA or an Office Manager. Secretarial staff are likely to undertake a lot of typing particularly within professional services.

  • Reception & Facilities

    First point of contact for an organisation and will be friendly and welcoming. Meeting and greeting, answering calls, operating a switchboard and often undertaking administrative tasks this person will usually have a helpful and friendly demeanour. Facilities staff will be responsible for undertaking minor repairs and be responsible with dealing with external contractors.

  • Customer Service & Account Management

    Will be pivotal in ensuring customers have the best experience they possibly can and keep them coming back rather than going elsewhere. Will often be responsible for managing specific accounts and will look to maximise revenue from existing clients and customers by ensuring a smooth and professional service.

  • Finance & Operations

    Will undertake duties such as management accounts, payroll, credit control, purchase and sales ledger. Candidates will likely have or be working towards and qualification such as AAT or ACCA. Dependent on size of organisation can be responsible for more operational and office management. Large organisations will have a finance team and Hooray recruits at all levels up to Head of Finance or Finance Director.

  • HR, Training & Internal Recruitment

    Can be responsible for a part or whole of an HR function dependent on size of organisation. Areas covered will include, induction, recruitment and working with agencies, learning and development, performance management, and dealing with grievances and disciplinaries. Will often possess or be working towards a CIPD qualification. Hooray recruits at all levels from HR Assistant to Director or Head of HR.

  • Marketing & Communications

    Can be creative or analytical and can work in a team or manage the whole function. Responsible for ‘off-line’ and / or digital marketing and in smaller organisations will manage social media and website maintenance. Larger organisations will have separate social media staff.   • Database, Digital & Technical Support

    Responsible for the more technical and analytical side of an organisation and will ensure the streamlining and upkeep of an effective database. Will be informed on aspects of data protection and may work closely with a marketing or sales team.

  • Project & Programme Management

    Responsible for seeing projects through from inception to completion or supporting on existing projects. Will be highly organised and will also have strong customer service skills as will be working closely with clients as well as internal stakeholders. Project Managers may often have a relevant qualification such as Prince 2.

  • Business Development & Sales

    Will thrive on working towards and achieving targets. Should be authentic when selling and be proud of the product they are promoting. Will be confident, energetic and tenacious. Levels of roles vary and Hooray recruits from Executive up to Director level.

  • Senior Appointments & Directors
